Privacy Policy

We like our privacy so we respect yours.

Hello.

It might not surprise you that the website of a digital marketing firm uses web analytics tools to track its visitors by collecting anonymous statistics.

Among the tools currently being used are: Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Oribi. We often test new tools on this website. You can always see the latest ones by doing a right-mouse click in your browser and choosing View Source. All tools are clearly commented and identified by name.

Cookies

Most of the above tools use first-party cookies, small text files with a single string of 100% anonymous text or numbers. We DO NOT collect any Personally Identifiable information (PII) about website visitors using any of these tools.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to Google and other Analytics vendors we might be using. This information is then used to evaluate visitors use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity for www.oneeyedblinddog.com.

The Web Analytics vendors used do not associate your IP address with any other data held by them. Neither One Eyed Blind Dog nor the Web Analytics Vendors will link, or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user. We WILL NOT associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifiable information from any other source.

How we use your contact information

Your contact information is submitted on this website in three scenarios:

#1: You submit your name (real or imagined!), email address, or other contact information when submitting the contact form on this website. The information you provide on this form is sent only to the owner of the business. She prefers responding personally to all inquiries.

#2: You clicked on the email address in the footer -- hello@oneeyedblinddog.com, and sent us an email inquiry. Again, the information provided in the email is sent only to the owner of the business.

#3: You click on the Calendly link to schedule a call. You will be sent to our scheduling page on the Calendly website. If you choose to schedule a call our owner will be sent your contact information so she can prepare for the call. We have no influence over how your information is used or stored by the Calendly service. To learn more we suggest you visit Calendly's privacy policy.

The information you submit on this website is only used to respond to your inquiry. We do not have a newsletter to send you. We do not share or sell your information to anyone. Your click behavior on Oneeyedblinddog.com is not connected to any contact information you may choose to share with us via the form, email link, or Calendly link.

We do not participate in any behavioral advertising or behavioral targeting for advertising purposes. But, if you want to opt out of it for other sites you browse, then you can do so here: Opt Out of Behavioral Advertising by multiple companies.

Visit it every once in a while to make sure you are still opted out as AboutAds also uses third party cookies to opt out.

Controlling Your Privacy

We provide a simple way in which you can opt-out from tracking by this website.

In the lower left corner of your screen you will find a tab labeled 'Cookie Settings'. When clicked a preference panel will open. Here you can select categories of cookies you are willing to allow, or turn them all off.

As might be obvious this privacy policy was not written by lawyers. By choice. Your feedback to this privacy policy is always welcome, please email us by writing to hello@oneeyedblinddog.com.

We are strong believers in freedom, privacy, and security. We believe passing best practices in privacy and security on to others benefits all of us. These might be odd concepts coming from a digital marketing firm, but it is possible to provide effectively marketing without knowing every detail of a prospect or client's personal life.
